It's been revealed that one man in Cooma was injured on the weekend after crashing into a cow.
In fact, there were two separate accidents within ten minutes of each other at approximately 9pm Saturday night after some black angus cattle was released near the intersection of polo flat.
A lack of lighting in the area at the time - coupled with the colour of the animals - led two motorists to crash into the cows and one man to sustain a mild injury.
He received some windscreen glass in his eye.
It's unknown at this time who freed the animals, and police investigations are continuing.
