Federal Member for Eden-Monaro Mike Kelly has weighed in on the Kings Highway.
Following two fatal accidents over the weekend, the NRMA are calling for action to be taken toward improving the road and the New South Wales government is set to launch a review into the safety of the highway.
While there is opinion that road conditions were a factor in the two crashes, it's also been established that excessive speed was a contributing factor in both cases.
Mr. Kelly says that the highway may benefit from more deterrant measures such as speed cameras, but that overall people need to take responsibility for themselves and drive safely and with caution on any road.
