Youngsters shave to save in Jindabyne

Sixteen kids from Jindabyne will be going under the clippers or colouring their hair this week, all part of the worlds greatest shave.

The annual Leukemia Foundation event is set to raise money to support sufferers of blood cancer, and the 12 students, all between nine and thirteen, will be in the nuggets crossing courtyard friday from 4pm.

They're aiming to raise $5,000 and are being led by team captain Lachlan Harrigan, who took part last year.

Lachlan says finding other willing people wasn't too difficult - most of them put their hands up.
