The Bombala Times reports a free scarlet robin workshop is set to be held at the Monaro Native Tree Nursery on Saturday.

It will focus on habitat enhancement and landscape restoration, as well as vulnerable woodland birds finding connectivity and how to boost farm profitability.

Nursery owners Michael and Annie Platts will take those involved on a tour of their nursery, and showcase their successful re-vegetation works.

A leading ecologist, an expert on landscape connectivity and an environment guru from South East Local Land Services will also hold talks at the event.

The workshop will get underway from 10am and run until 3pm, and it will be funded by South East Local Land Services through the NSW Government's Environmental Trust.
