The Eucumbene Trout Farm has been awarded a silver medal for its smoked trout, with judges in the aquaculture division of the 2017 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show praising the “wonderful flavour” of the fish.
The Show’s competitions aim to discover the country’s best fine food producers.
Eucumbene Trout Farm co-principal, Karen Howells, says she was thrilled by the success of the farm’s smoked trout entry.
